Healing Arts on the Green

To support our community's health and wellness as we transition out of the pandemic, First Church of Christ, Congregational, 1652, and the Farmington Libraries are hosting a series of free experiential events to help participants learn simple, practical tools of self-healing to balance and harmonize soul, heart, mind & body. No prior training is necessary. Bring a towel, mat, blanket, or chair. Parking is available in the Barney Library lot.

The event will take place in Amistad Hall at the Sarah Porter Memorial on 75 Main Street. Masks are required.

September 21: Guided Journaling and Cleansing Meditation with Debra Borrero

Debra Borrero discovered the healing power of integrated medicine and reiki during her battle with breast cancer. Journaling will be the primary focus of the session with guided breath meditation and affirmations that open up the three primary Reiki centers to cultivate vibrancy in the body, wisdom in the heart, and clarity in the mind. Participants may bring their own journals. But if you forget, don’t worry, some will be provided.

Other events in the series:

September 28: Integrating Sound and Color into Qigong Practice with Marie Lavendier and Suan Armstrong

For questions, email janehikel@yahoo.com

Registration is recommended so we can inform participants of any changes to the schedule.
