Museum Passes may be unavailable

We're excited to announce that our museum passes will be switching to a new platform called MuseumKey! In order to do so the ability to reserve museum passes will be experiencing some periods of downtime. If you have any questions about existing reservations please reach out to the Children's Department.

COMPUTERS & PRINTING

PRINTING

Printing is available at The Farmington Libraries.

  • 20 cents/per page for Black & White
  • 50 cents/per page for Color

When printing from a library computer money must be added to your account or guest pass prior to printing. The Farmington Library accepts cash and debit/credit (over $1), the Barney Library is cash only.

Mobile Printing

We have implemented Princh, a new printing solution, at our libraries. With our new solution it is now possible to easily and securely print from a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, both remotely and at the library.

Printing from your mobile phone or a tablet
  1. When printing at the library: locate the print guide poster near the printer and scan the QR code.

    • When printing remotely: open your browser, go to print.princh.com and enter the 6-digit printer ID to select the correct printer.

  2. Upload your document(s).
  3. Adjust the settings.
  4. Select “Pay at the desk” payment option.
Printing from your laptop

FAX MACHINE

A self service fax machine is located on the second floor of the Farmington Library. The fax machine can accept up to 20 letter size pages.

  • $1.75 first page
  • $1.00 each additional page

International

  • $3.95 first page
  • $3.45 each additional page

The fax machine requires a debit/credit card for payment. 

PHOTO COPYING

A photocopier is available for public use at the Farmington Library.  Copies can be made on Standard 8.5x11 or Legal 8.5x14 paper.

Copies are

  • 20 cents/per page for Black & White
  • 50 cents/per page for Color

The copy machine takes payment in coins (nickels, dimes, quarters) or dollar bills (one dollar & five dollar bills). 

SCANNING

Scanning to a flash drive is available at the Farmington Library using the photocopier located on the second floor.

Scanning to email is available using the Barney Library printer/copier.

There's no cost to scan. 

Laptops to Go

Laptop Kiosk

The Farmington Library now has Laptops to Go! You can check out a laptop for a 3 day loan.

Want to learn a basic computer skill? Schedule a 30 minute, virtual or in person appointment with a librarian on the subject of your choosing.

Each individual is allowed to schedule a maximum of two 30 minute sessions during a month. Simply choose a topic from our list and contact the Information Services Department at the Farmington Library to discuss your needs. If you are interested in learning about a topic not on our list give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
