Come play at Barney Library. Time for caregivers and children to form friendships! Parents can chat while children play in the Gallery turned playroom! Drop in for a few minutes or stay the whole time. No registration required.

Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Hoppin Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Ages 3-6. Stop by the main library and watch a picture book come to life on our projector screen, followed by coloring or craft time!

This program will give you the basics to start knitting. We will go over casting on, knitting, and purling as well as a new skill each session! This is a basic program that will give you the tools to keep moving forward.

The Farmington Valley Chapter of the Connecticut Poetry Society, in collaboration with the Farmington Library and local artist Tatyana Nadgor, will offer two events in September: first a poetry writing workshop and later an open mic opportunity.
