We're going to take glass planters and paint them to look like terra cotta. A fun project you could do on plastic and glass!

For caregivers of babies ages 0 to 12 months. Registration required; registering for one class registers you for the 6-week session.  

A fun-filled half hour for child and caregiver featuring books, fingerplays, and lots of music.

Come play with some toys at the Barney library. Open play time with our toys! Drop in, no registration required. Ages 1-5

For three-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the whole 6-class session. 

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

In Bite Size Science we will share a story and complete an exciting experiment or project focusing on early science concepts.

Ages 2.5 - 3 and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the 6-week session. 

In Pint-Sized Picassos we share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

 Turkey Time! Have fun creating a sweet, edible turkey decoration for your Thanksgiving table.   Registration required.

It's Turkey Time again!  Using our dauber art paints, you and your little one can create their very own turkey doily centerpiece!

Take our Legos and your imagination and what will you build? Creations will be on display for 2 weeks after the program. Duplos available for younger builders.

Learn to Knit.  This beginner program is best suited for kids ages 7-12.  We will provide needles and yarn to begin.  Let's knit a project together!

Want to learn how to code and make some friends along the way? Bring your laptop and join our Girls Who Code Club for Grades 7-12.

This program will give you the basics to start knitting like casting on, knitting, and binding off! This is a basic program that will give you the tools to keep moving forward. We'll have supplies, materials, and certainly fun! 

Join us for a Diwali, the festival of lights, celebration at The Farmington Libraries! We will be decorating diya (clay lamps), with paint as well as making our own rangoli (sand art) while we listen to Indian-inspired music.
