Stop in to the Barney Library for some independent jewelry making.  We will provide a variety of tools and supplies, and you bring the creativity.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

Feel free to wear your costumes or orange today!  

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Each week we’ll read a picture book then watch that book come to life as we play the picture book movie on our screen, followed by coloring time!

Join us for this fun, interactive showing of the movie Hocus Pocus. Laugh and play along as we “act out” various parts of the movie.  Participants will receive interactive movie bags to use throughout the movie.

Two Farmington poets, Sharon Smith and D. Walsh Gilbert, will launch their newest poetry books:

Kristen Wilder, Family Engagement Facilitator for the Farmington Schools, will be offering a series of workshops for Kindergartners and their parents; attendees can choose which they'd like to attend.

Join us every Friday for an hour of free-writing and discussion. Each session will have prompts, guidance, and absolute fun. Bring your writing questions or just your ideas to workshop. 

The Farmington Library Board invites the community to meet the new Executive Director, Jocelyn Kennedy, Tuesday, October 24 from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM in the Lobby of the Main Library. Enjoy light refreshments and say hello!

Join Halloween enthusiasts, Courtney Cerruti and Twinkie Chan in making spooky specimens for the season. Transform plastic toys with acrylic paint and mount them onto wooden plaques to create frightfully sophisticated Halloween home decor.
