Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

  Join us for a sweet, seasonal story time, including fresh apple cider and a doughnut! 

For three-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the whole session. 

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Hoppin Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

In this program children ages 3-5 will have the opportunity to explore and create music using their voices, bodies, and percussion instruments. Each week we will learn about music through stories, songs, and crafts.

Ages 4 – 5, for the child alone (caregivers must stay in the Kids’ Place). Registration required. Please note that you only need to register once for all 23 classes.  

In Bite Size Science we will share a story and complete an exciting experiment or project focusing on early science concepts.

(Please note there is a separate registration for each Bite Size Science class.)

Come take a trip around the world with our favorite caterpillar!  We'll read this classic book in both English and another language, then do some fun activities together to learn about the featured culture.  You'll get a special passport

In Pint-Sized Picassos we share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

Ages 4-5, for the child alone (caregivers must stay in the Kids’ Place). Registration required; register once for entire session.

A sweet way to spend an afternoon!  We’ll provide all the supplies you’ll need to create a spooky candy house!

Join us at the Barney Library for a Halloween Dance Party! Children ages 1 to 4 are invited to come in costume to enjoy a fabulous Halloween celebration featuring dancing and a simple craft.

Calling all dinosaur fans! Join us to kick off DiNOVEMBER! We will read stories and complete lots of fun hands-on activities.
