The Voice of the Turtle (1949) Comedy - Based on John Van Druten's stageplay, this sweet romantic comedy stars Ronald Reagan as a soldier on a weekend pass who gets stood up. His would-be date's friend (Eleanor Parker), an aspiring actress, goes out with him instead and agrees to let him stay with her when he can't wrangle a hotel room.
