Week Calendar

Mr. Mike is back at the library to keep you swinging and swaying!  This program for ages 1-6 with their caregivers will have both kids and adults singing along and dancing to the music.

 Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on the alphabet by introducing children to a different letter of the alphabet each week through stories, music, and a craft.

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Celebrate the Month!

You’re invited to a conversation with New York Times bestselling author David Epstein as he chats about his most recent book, Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World. 

Page Dickey, gardener, writer, speaker, will be our guest speaker for the March 13th Founders’ Day Farmington Garden Club event, co-sponsored by the Farmington Garden Club and the Farmington Library.

This program will provide an opportunity to meet some of the string musicians of the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra as they perform a short selection of string quartet music.

Enjoy an afternoon of painting and listening to music. A unique acrylic painting will be ready for you to copy - or you can paint what you like!

Barney Kids Book Club

Ages 5-10

Join Miss Amy at Barney to read a book and do a craft.  This program will meet indoors in the Hoppin Gallery.

Speak to your child in the language you know best!  Connect with other families who speak Spanish as you read, play, and socialize.

Ages 0-5 with caregiver.

Join us at the Farmington Library for beginners drawing club focused on pencil drawings. Explore varied drawing techniques to add to your skill toolkit!

We will make coffee bean soaps. Pairs perfectly with last week's Adult Take-and-Make: 3D Coffee Paper Mug.
