Week Calendar

A fun-filled half hour for child and caregiver featuring books, fingerplays and lots of music. 

Registration required; register once for the whole session. 

Just in time for Valentine's Day! We will be making a pop-up flower bouquet card to give to someone special. 

 Each week we will share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

For caregivers of babies ages 0 to 12 months. Registration required; registering for one class registers you for the session.  

Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

 Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on the alphabet by introducing children to a different letter of the alphabet each week through stories, music, and a craft.

For two-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the 6-week session. 

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Ages 2.5 - 3 and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the 8-week session. 

For three-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration Required; registering for one class registers you for the session. 

Create a one-of-a-kind bird feeder using Cheerios and pipe cleaners.

Join the No Book Book Club where there's no assigned reading. This book club gives you the opportunity to make new friends and learn about many books in a one-hour meetup. 

Do you like audiobooks? Share your favorite listen. 

Do you want to learn how to use a 3D printer? Do you know how, but want to start using our printers? This program will certify you to use the library's 3D printers! Must be 16-18! SPACE IS LIMITED. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

Speak to your child in the language you know best!  Connect with other families who speak Spanish as you read, play, and socialize.

For children in grades 1-4. Registration Required. 

Learn how to make sushi out of candy! This event is a collaboration between the Children’s Services and Teen Services departments so we will be meeting upstairs in the Teen space.

If you simply love chocolate and cooking or would like to learn to make some elegant desserts and chocolates, come to a lecture/demonstration entitled Basics of Chocolate Truffle Making. 

Don't want to celebrate Valentines Day? Celebrate Un-Valentines Day! Decorate cookies while we watch Little Women (2019) and take some photos in our "photo booth"!
