A fun-filled half hour for child and caregiver featuring books, finger plays and lots of music.   Class size will be limited to 15 one year olds.

Please choose only one class.

 Each week we will share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

For caregivers of babies ages 0 to 12 months. Registration required; registering for one class registers you for the session.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

 Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on the alphabet by introducing children to a different letter of the alphabet each week through stories, music, and a craft.

For two-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the 4-week session. 

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Ages 2.5 - 3 and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the 4-week session.

Gather up a team and join us for our chilling Halloween Escape Room on Saturdays, October 22 & October 29.  Can you solve the clues and 'escape' the room?

Buckle up for twists, turns and emotional loop-de-loops in the most roller coaster-y Pigeon book ever! The Pigeon WILL be ready, WILL YOU?!

Do you love Daniel Tiger?  Activities, games, and stories galore will make for a fun Daniel Tiger party with emphasis on kindness, respect, and sharing all while having lots of fun.

Learn to Knit.  This beginner program is best suited for kids ages 7-12.  We will provide needles and yarn to begin.  Let's knit a project together!

In this talk, John Hanson will share some outstanding verses on old stones in Connecticut and discuss their sources, including scripture, hymnody, poetry, and original poetry composed for a particular individual.
