A fun-filled half hour for child and caregiver featuring books, fingerplays and lots of music.

Stop in to the Barney Library for some independent jewelry making.  We will provide a variety of tools and supplies, and you bring the creativity.

We will be using polymer clay to create the look of marble, for a set of elegant coasters.

 Each week we will share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

For caregivers of babies ages 0 to 12 months. Registration required; registering for one class registers you for the session.  

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

 Have fun getting to know the ABCs! This early literacy program focuses on the alphabet by introducing children to a different letter of the alphabet each week through stories, music, and a craft.

For two-year-olds and their caregivers. Registration required; register once for the 4-week session. 

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Stop by the Barney Library on the second Wednesday of the month at 2:30 PM for an afternoon movie. These movies are free and open to the public. Whenever available, movies are shown with Closed Captions.

Learn to Knit.  This beginner program is best suited for kids ages 7-12.  We will provide needles and yarn to begin.  Let's knit a project together!
