YA Lit Lovers Book Group
Are you a little less Y and a little more A, but can’t get enough of YA books? It’s ok, no really, it’s okay. This book group is for you! Funny, heart-wrenching, time-traveling, world-bending, stereotype shattering YA books have been making a mark on society for decades and it’s time for us adults who love them to stop hiding in the shadows. Led by Anna Downing, Teen Library Assistant.
This month's book: Small Spaces by Katherine Arden
Bestselling adult author of The Bear and the Nightingale makes her middle grade debut with a creepy, spellbinding ghost story destined to become a classic.
When things start to get creepy on a field trip to a local farm, Ollie notices similarities between what’s happening, and the events in an old book she found. A mist rises and strangers give her ominous warnings about small spaces and a smiling man. Will Ollie be able to save herself and her classmates?
