The “soundtrack” of the World War II era includes many now-classic romantic songs of longing and separation, along with urban and country-style patriotic songs, songs recorded for soldiers, and some pop-music standards — but surprisingly few militant war songs. Join us to learn about how the soundtrack of an era has influenced even artists of today.
