Poetry Writing Workshop for Connecticut Poetry Society

The Farmington Valley Chapter of the Connecticut Poetry Society, in collaboration with the Farmington Library and local artist Tatyana Nadgor, will offer two events in September: first a poetry writing workshop and later an open mic opportunity. Whether you’re a seasoned poet or you’ve never written one, we invite you to participate in either or both of these events! Tatyana’s art will be on display at the library from August 24 through September 30 for inspiration.

A get together to talk briefly about writing poems, go over some prompts, and view the art. You can select a piece or two that speaks to you. Then we’ll spend some time writing and discussing your pieces.
