Three local poets will launch their newest poetry collections on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM, in the Hoppin Gallery at Barney Library. An open mic will precede the readings. Everyone is welcome!

Debbie Gilbert, Bleat & Prattle

Debbie Gilbert lives at the foothill of Talcott Mountain where bears and bobcats visit as she writes her poetry daily, including this latest collection about all the animals in our lives.

Julia Paul, Table with Burning Candle

Julia Paul is the author of Staring Down the Tracks (2020) and Shook (2015). The first Poet Laureate of Manchester (2014-2019), she currently serves as president of the Riverwood Poetry Series.

Ginny Lowe Connors, White Sail at Midnight

Ginny Lowe Connors, founder and managing editor of Grayson Books, a small poetry press, is the author of an award-winning chapbook and five full-length poetry collections.
