The Modernistics Quintet: The 20s Roar Again!
The Modernistics celebrate the 1920s with hit songs, high-energy tap dance numbers, and exuberant instrumentals by the great tunesmiths of the day - George Gershwin, Fats Waller, Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael and others. The show evokes the vitality and mystique of the 1920s with a 21st-century groove.
The Modernistics have captivated audiences across the Northeast, with shows for The Medallion Opera House, The Great North Woods Center for the Arts, Concord City Auditorium, the Ocean Park Music Festival, The Robert H. Wood Great Artist Series (NY), Middletown Concert Association (CT), Colby College, Nichols College, the West Claremont Center for the Arts, and The Chelmsford Center for the Arts, among others.
