Attend a special author visit for middle grade readers at the Avon Public Library on Friday, June 24 at 11:00 AM, co-sponsored by the Simsbury Public Library and The Farmington Libraries.

Written together with her longtime colleague Angela May, Mary Alice Monroe’s first book for middle grade readers, The Islanders, is the story of friendships forged in the wild, and what happens when kids unplug and experience nature’s power to heal and unite. We’re celebrating the second book, Search for Treasure.

Reserve your seat at www.avonctlibrary.info

Three lucky readers will win a set of these books during the event!

Books will be for sale at this event, including Mary Alice’s adult titles.
