Murthas and Milners are back!
Authentic maritime and immigration songs from the golden age of transatlantic sailing ships, including the shanties that lately found fame on the TikTok media platform but actually have been kept alive for decades along the Connecticut coastline south street seaport in New York City. Bonnie, Deirdre, Dan & Sean sing roaring shanties and heartfelt ballads! Murthas and Milners have sung at venues from Mystic Seaport as far afield as San Francisco, Cork, Liverpool and Lisbon! These engaging performers sing acapella and accompanied, just the way sailors and immigrant poets did! The group sings as a quartet, and in trios, duos and as soloists.
