Garmany Music Series: Hungrytown

Combining spellbinding harmonies with heartfelt storytelling, Americana/folk music duo Hungrytown have been captivating audiences throughout the United States, Europe and New Zealand for more than fifteen years of full-time touring.  The duo is known for the timeless quality of their songs, which combine Celtic and Appalachian influences, as well as their artful accompaniment on a variety of instruments, including banjo, mandolin, guitar and harmonica.

Bio

After more than fifteen years of world-wide touring and three album releases, Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson--otherwise known as the folk duo Hungrytown--have earned a reputation for the quality and authenticity of their songwriting. Hungrytown's music has received extensive radio airplay worldwide and has appeared on several television shows, including Comedy Central's The Daily Show, IFC's Portlandia and Netflix's Lady Dynamite.
