Join us at the Barney Library for The Shape of Words — a poetry workshop and readings hosted by Kelly Fowler and including a reception for the Reframed art exhibition by Eddie Hall. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.

Whether you're a seasoned poet or a beginner, this interactive session is for all. You'll participate in creative exercises to spark your writing and receive guided prompts to help you express your thoughts.

🖋️ What to Expect:

• Creative Poetry Workshop: Learn about different types of poetry and engage in hands-on exercises designed to help you write poetry right at the event.

• Guided Writing Prompts: Get inspired with writing prompts, art surrounding you in the room, and techniques to spark your creativity and express yourself.

• Poetry Reading: Share your work with the community! You will have the opportunity to read your own poems, whether created during the workshop or previously written.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow poetry enthusiasts, gain feedback, and get inspired! Feel free to bring a favorite poem or any original work you'd like to share. We can't wait to hear your voice.
