In this free informational 5 part series, join a certified dementia specialist from Hartford HealthCare's Center for Healthy Aging to learn:
- overview of dementia
- basics of good communication and understanding behaviors
- safety in the environment and how to structure a day with activities
- taking care of the caregiver and care options
- overview of community resources
Q&A with the speaker will follow each presentation. Participants are encouraged to attend all five sessions.
