QUILTS BY ED JOHNETTA MILLER
Ed Johnetta Miller is a fiber artist, teacher, curator, and lecturer. She is recognized around the globe as one of the most creative and colorful improvisational quilt-makers in the U.S. Her works are exhibited in the U.S. and internationally. Ed Johnetta's quilts can be found in many important museums, corporate, and private collections such as, The National Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., Nelson Mandela’s National Museum in Cape town, South Africa, The Mariposa Museum and World Cultural Center at Martha's Vineyard, The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, CT, and the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum in Golden, CO.
Ms. Miller's work exemplifies the historic riches of African and African American peoples here people.
