The Farmington Libraries were recently alerted to a potential phishing link texted to a resident asking if they have a library card. We advise patrons not to click on links in text messages from unknown sources especially those regarding your library card or library account as the library does not have the ability to text patrons.
You may receive an automated email from the library when a hold is available, an item has been renewed, an item is coming due or an item is overdue. We may reach out via email if an item has been left behind at the library or returned to us in error.
We also offer an email newsletter which includes information about upcoming programs, closures, library services or book recommendations. You can subscribe to our email newsletter.
Always exercise caution if you're receiving a message you don't expect or doesn't make sense. We welcome you to call the library if you're unsure if it's a message from us!
