Matthew, of Granby, went camping in the summer of 2022 where he discovered a big yellow object on the shore. It was dirty, kind of gross and rusty, but he wanted to keep it. Shortly thereafter on vacation at the Real Salem Pirate Museum, Matthew mentioned his discovery to staff and over the course of that year the museum worked to discover the origin of this mysterious object.
