Sage Gentry is the new Teen Services Librarian, who is working towards her Masters in Library Science from Rutgers University. She has a love for all things YA, Disney, and Star Wars and cannot wait to meet everyone!

The Friends of the Farmington Libraries are seeking book donations!
Books must be in excellent condition, free of dust, mildew, no torn pages/covers and published after 2015 (except for classics)
Visit Kids’ Place any time between August 16 and 21 to spin the Prize Wheel for a small prize or a ticket for a chance to win a Kindle Paperwhite or gift certificates!! Don’t forget to pick up your FREE BOOK if you’ve read 30 days on your summer reading log.
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, we are requesting that ALL visitors to The Farmington Libraries, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask.
Visitors to the Barney Library and to Kids’ Place are required to wear a mask.

Beginning Monday, July 12, Connecticut Water Company will be replacing water main on Route 4, Farmington Avenue in Farmington. Motorists on Route 4 can expect a detour between West Avon Road and Brickyard Road. The work hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Main Library Hours Monday-Thursday 9:00AM – 9:00PM Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM Saturday 9:00AM-1:00PM
Please note that Kids’ Place will close at 8:00PM Monday- Thursday
