On Saturday, May 10, the Farmington Libraries will host Scotland native, Jeff Robertson, for a presentation on his native country. This event will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Farmington Main Library at 6 Monteith Drive.
Do you want to stir your soul with the sights and sounds of Scotland? See some of her majestic beauty, learn a bit about her rich history and the contributions Scotland has given to the world? Jeff Robertson, native of Dundee, Scotland, will give both a video presentation and speak about Scotland (with his natural Scottish burr). Background Celtic music, tartan attire, wonderful pictures and landscapes, a bit of humor thrown in, and a display of ‘things Scottish’ all come together for an enjoyable afternoon of listening and learning.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Farmington Libraries and is free and open to the public. Please register in advance by calling 860-673-6791 or using this link.
The Farmington Library is part of the Farmington Village Green and Library Association. If you have special needs to attend library programs, contact the library in advance.
