On Thursday, August 20, the Farmington Libraries will host a two-hour workshop on the basics of programming and code for new and inexperienced learners. The workshop will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Main Library at 6 Monteith Drive.
Programming has been referred to as one of the most important skills of the 21st century. This two-hour workshop will teach participants the basics of programming and writing in code, including analysis of the most popular programming languages. No prior experience with coding or programming is required. You must be at least 14 years of age to participate.
This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please register in advance for this program by calling the library at 860-673-6791, using the online registration form, or visiting the Information Services Desk.
