During the month of August, Farmington Libraries will host a three-part workshop on Arduino microprocessors. Sessions will take place on Wednesdays, August 12, 19, and 26, at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Library at 6 Monteith Drive.
Over the course of this three-part series, participants will become familiar with the Arduino platform, including the basics of writing code in the Arduino environment and using Arduino boards to drive projects and prototype with digital electronics. At the completion of the series, they will leave with an Arduino and the knowledge and skills to conceive their own creations. Some prior knowledge of electronics and programming is helpful but not required. You must be at least 14 years of age to participate.
Space is limited. To reserve a spot, please contact Laura Horn at 860-673-6791 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The cost of this workshop series is $30, which will cover the cost of materials. Payment in the form of cash or check must be brought to the Main Library within 2 business days of reservation in order to guarantee a seat.
