Go Pro with Video Recording at the Farmington Libraries

It’s hard to stay active during these chilly winter months but the Farmington Libraries may have the perfect gadgets to help get you outdoors and stay creative throughout the year!

Introducing the latest additions to The Studio: the Vuze 360 and the GoPro Hero 5.

The Vuze 360 is a 360° camera that will shoot photo and video in a sphere around you! “Set it and forget it” on a tripod stand, or use it on the go with a monopod to take advantage of the included horizon stabilization software.

The GoPro Hero 5 is a one-touch action cam that will shoot 4k video or slow motion footage with ease! Mount it to a variety of different stands such as a handlebar grip, the telescoping selfie stick, or the head & chest rig. However you use it, you will be able to capture the great outdoors with one simple press of a button.

Interested in learning how to use either of these cameras? Come to the Main Library to schedule a one-on-one training appointment with a staff member, and then check any of the equipment listed above for a period of 7 days to start capturing your own footage! You can also come back to The Studio to edit your footage into professional videos using editing software found on our computers. Stop by Information Services at the Main Library to learn more, or give us a call at 860-673-6791.
