Garmany Music Series: S’Fere

Sfere LogoOn Thursday, May 7, S’Fere will return to the Farmington Libraries for an evening of jazz. This event will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Library at 6 Monteith Drive.

S’Fere is an Enfield, CT-based jazz group founded in 2011. Featuring guitarist Frank Payeur, bassist Andy Lawson, percussionist Dave Choquette, and keyboardist Mark Mooney, the quartet’s mainstream, blues, funk and Latin-jazz repertoire covers a variety of artists and composers – from Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock and Antonio Carlos Jobim, to Weather Report, the Allmans, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

This event is made possible by Richard P. Garmany through a grant awarded by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. The Farmington Libraries will be hosting a variety of performances throughout the year as part of the Richard P. Garmany music series.

This event is free and open to the public. Please register in advance for this program by calling the library at 860-673-6791, using the online registration form, or visiting the Information Services Desk.

The Farmington Library is part of the Farmington Village Green and Library Association. If you have special needs to attend library programs, contact the library in advance.
