The artists featured in the show are Steve Adams, Bernadette Bellizzi, Lorraine Centrella, Jean Dalton, Michalski Jerzy, Nancy Lasar, Eric Litke, Zeb Mayer, Paul Osgood, and Tom Zaccheo. The show represents a wide array of mediums, including photography, ceramics, watercolor, and chine colle, as well as diverse styles and concepts.
Farmington Library art shows are part of an initiative to foster an understanding in the community that Farmington Libraries represent not only high quality literature, learning, and entertainment, but also high quality art. These exhibitions gather together diverse local talent in one place, allowing for a broader and more nuanced view of what the Connecticut art scene has to offer.
The items in the collection are for sale and will be on display in the Main Library’s Community Room until Friday, April 29. The exhibit can be viewed during the library’s operating hours. Because there are programs scheduled in the Community Room throughout the month, please contact the library in advance to check on the room’s availability.
