Take a trip to Turkey, all from the comfort of your local library!
Jay Johnston will share his experiences from his 23-day journey through Turkey, a land of surprises, tradition, and the Silk Road. From Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, and Bosphorus Bridge; to the Hagia Sophia and Troy’s treasures. From the Libraries at Ephesus to the stories of the Cappadocian Cave dwellers, this travelog is filled with facts and figures, as well as experiences like swimming in the blue waters of Mediterranean at Antaya. Next, we will visit Ankara, the Turkish Capital, with its museums and political history. We will conclude our journey in Istanbul with a bit of Turkish Delight!
