Sunday Movie Matinees!

On March 23, the Farmington Main Library will be hosting a concert with the music of the Sherman Brothers, who wrote more motion picture scores than any other songwriting team in film history and composed more than 150 songs for Disney films, TV shows, and theme parks.

To prepare for the concert and to celebrate these unforgettable soundtracks, the Main Library will be showing the films that feature some of their most memorable songs:

Bagheera the Panther and Baloo the Bear have a difficult time trying to convince a boy to leave the jungle for human civilization.

These movies will appeal to movie lovers of all ages. Come enjoy the movies of your childhood, the movies of your child’s childhood, or introduce them to a whole new generation of movie goers!

Showings will start at 1:30 PM at the Farmington Main Library at 6 Monteith Drive.
