Summer Crafting Series @ the Maker Space

Get your craft on this summer at the Farmington Library Maker Space! We have crafts to fit every interest and schedule.

All programs are open to ages 12+ (that includes you, adults!).

You’ve seen them at the library, come learn how to make them!  Create paper flowers using simple folding and cutting techniques. Space is limited. Registration required.

BirdhousesRoadmap Bird Houses

Thursday, July 14, 6:30 PM
Decoupage painted, wood bird houses using craft paper, maps, or sheet music.  Bird houses are provided. Space is limited. Registration required (July 5 OR July 14).

Tote BagsFabric-Stamped Tote Bags
Tuesday, July 19, 10:30 – 11:30 AM
Create beautiful designs on canvas tote bags using fabric stamps.  Tote bags will be provided, or bring your own. Space is limited. Registration required.

Glass EtchingGlass Etching
Tuesday, August 2, 10:30 – 11:30 AM
Make your own personalized glassware! Use our self-adhesive stencils to etch designs onto glass.  Glassware (1 per person) will be provided. Space is limited. Registration required.

Learn how to fold paper into whimsical accordion pinwheels that are great for party decorations, wreaths, or wall hangings. Space is limited. Registration required (August 16 OR August 25).
