Plein Air Painting Demonstration with Jim Laurino

laurino_plein airOn Saturday, June 15, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Farmington Main Library, 6 Monteith Drive, local landscape artist Jim Laurino will demonstrate his oil painting technique.

In this demonstration, he will paint a local scene, and engage the audience on all aspects of plein air painting and custom framing. His aggressive and deliberate painting style, unique hand crafted frames, and passion for painting on location are sure to make this a worthwhile event for all art enthusiasts.  Jim’s contemporary impressionist pieces are exhibited and sold throughout the state.  Over 30 of his pieces will be on display in the Farmington Main Library’s Community Room as part of this event. This art show is called, “Connecticut Landscapes.”
