The Farmington Main Library is hosting four write-ins on Tuesday nights in November You bring your lap top and your power chords, or your moleskin notebook and your Mont Blanc pen . . . we’ll provide the space and some snacks to get you through your daily writing goal. The dates are: November 5, 12, 19, and 26, and the write-ins will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month and takes place each year during the month of November. Hundreds of thousands of people from around the world sign up to tackle the challenge of writing 50,000 words in one month. Chris Baty, author of the book, “No Plot, No Problem,” founded NaNoWriMo to get people writing, no matter how poorly, from blank beginning to the end of their first drafts.
Drop in any time during the write-in, but please let us know if you are coming (in case of space constraints!). Please register in advance by calling the library at 860-673-6791 or using the links from the library’s event page.
