Maker Space: Fabric Stamped Tote Bags

The Maker Space Blog

attachment-5This summer, Melissa and Lyn from Adult Services have created a fantastic Make Space Summer Crafting Series for the months of June, July, and August.  These classes range from decoupaging bird houses and etching glass goblets, to creating decorative accordion paper pinwheels using craft paper and buttons. This week, participants learned how to design personalized tote bags using fabric stamps! Melissa and Lyn were met with a great turn out and enjoyed watching
participants explore different techniques in designing their own tote bags. Not only did participants utilize the selection of fabric stamps that were provided, but many experimented with free-hand painting and color mixing as well!
