Maker Space Blog: Patron Spotlight – Lynne Levesque

The library’s Maker Space is an exciting place to be, and as its popularity continues to grow within our community, our staff has been thrilled to see some of our patrons designing and creating some amazing products. These unique and thoughtful creations of our patrons continue to inspire our library team, and we love to share these successes with our community!

This week, Vida Lashgari, our own Maker Space guru, worked with local Lynne Levesque on learning the basics of our sewing machine. By the end of their session, Lynne walked away with a completed set of curtains and pillowcases! Lynne left the Maker Space excited to share these newly handmade items with her grandson.

To sign up for your own training session on any of our Maker Space equipment, please visit or call Information Services at 860-673-6791. We will be more than happy to help you set up an appointment with a librarian!

And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see what else our patrons have been creating here at the Farmington Libraries Maker Space!
