Let the People Decide: Film Discussion and Conversation on Voting Rights

The Farmington Libraries are excited to host filmmaker Gavin Guerra and CCSU Political Science Professor Dr. Walton Brown-Foster on Tuesday, October 27 at 6 PM for a conversation on voting rights, past and present. Gavin Guerra and Dr. Brown-Foster will also discuss Guerra’s film, Let the People Decide, and the themes of voter suppression and racial injustice, and the significance of youth-led movements. Guerra’s film has been featured in the Margaret Mead Film Festival and the Harlem International Film Festival, among other venues.

Patrons are invited to join in the discussion. Registrants will be sent a link to separately view Guerra’s film before Tuesday’s program.
