Garmany Music Series: Jeff Wieselberg

wieselbergOn Tuesday, November 18, the Farmington Libraries will host local jazz pianist and vocalist, Jeff Wieselberg. This event will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Library at 6 Monteith Drive.

Jeff Wieselberg was born and raised in New Jersey, where he began taking piano lessons at the age of 7 and played in bands while in high school and college at Hofstra. He was a founding member of 2 popular and fondly?remembered bands, CLOCKWORK and THE RIVERSIDE DRIVERS, but for thirty years he has been performing mostly solo. He performs a wide variety of popular songs (pop, jazz, blues, rock, and Broadway) from throughout the 20th century, and a bit of the new millennium, too.

This event is made possible by Richard P. Garmany through a grant awarded by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. It is free and open to the public. The Farmington Libraries will be hosting a variety of performances throughout the year as part of the Richard P. Garmany music series.
