As part of its Fall Financial Series, the Farmington Library will host a workshop on how to make smart investment decisions. This event will take place on Tuesday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Library, located at 6 Monteith Drive.
Before you invest, take time to think about your overall financial situation and investment goals. Get the facts about the individual and the brokerage firm handling your investments. Learn why you should investigate before you invest and how to protect yourself from investment fraud and scams. Join David Jankoski, of the Securities Division of the State of Connecticut Department of Banking, who will provide relevant and common sense information.
This event is free and open to the public. Please register in advance for this program by calling the library at 860-673-6791, using the online registration form, or visiting the Information Services desk. If you have special needs to attend library programs, contact the library in advance.
