Community Issues Series – How Not to Be a Bystander: A Community Discussion

Tuesday, November 14
6:00 PM
Main Library

A panel of experts will share insight, answer questions, and offer suggestions on how to address intolerance in our community.

Please join Cynthia Martin, Director of Programs for the National Conference for Community and Justice and Gloria Mengual, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator for the CREC (Open Choice) Program for our timely forum entitled HOW NOT TO BE A BYSTANDER. We will learn about the recent increase in incidents of intolerance (of all kinds) in our community, and discuss concrete tools we can use to address discrimination and harassment in schools, the workplace, and beyond.

Please register.

The Farmington Libraries and ForwardCT Community Issues Series brings together experts to shed light on issues facing Connecticut and its citizens and to discuss how to get involved and take action. ForwardCT is a grassroots organization focused on connecting, informing, and inspiring progressive local action.
